For more than 20 years I have been fortunate enough share my thoughts on cosmetic and complex restorative dentistry in front of groups large and small. I lecture across the country and abroad on the subjects of smile enhancement, principles of occlusion, full mouth restoration and diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders and have spoken to thousands of care providers including dentists, physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists.
A primary area of interest has been the use of computer enhanced electro-diagnostic equipment in dentistry. Widely accepted applications for these instruments have been found in diagnosis and treatment of TMD, 3-D mandibular repositioning, principles of occlusion and occlusal management processes.
Over the last decade the digital platform has evolved to be part of everyday dentistry. I was asked to be involved in the testing of digital impressions and have expanded their use to include comprehensive care for crown and bridge as well as implant restorations. I have been recognized as an authority in digital dentistry and digital workflow. This experience carries through to single and multiple tooth implant placement and restoration. I also have significant experience with laser assisted dentistry.
I previously co-founded the Multi-Disciplinary Pain Clinic at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I also maintain a teaching center, the Center for Advanced Studies of Functional and Restorative Esthetics, and a general dental practice outside Madison, WI.
